The Quarry

The Quarry was developed by Supermassive Games (Surry, England) and is the spiritual successor to Until Dawn (2015 release). This interactive story game is comprised of 9 playable characters attempting to survive the campy horror movie tropes of the 80s and 90s. Loaded with a star-studded cast…each character potentially has 10-12 different ways to die in about 10 hours of gameplay. The game was developed by Supermassive for 2K. The war in Ukraine took engineering resources off of the project and the game was at risk of being delayed. 2K contacted TLM to assist Supermassive in finishing the game. “We had a bit of a weird thing with the multiplayer because… part of our team is based out in Ukraine. So we had to delay the multiplayer because they had to move. So we had to move the server from Kyiv up into Warsaw and those guys had to get out there cause it was obviously really dangerous. It’s literally going to be a couple of weeks. It is actually done. It has to go through testing now.”
